Meeting with research laboratories in mechanical engineering
We were delighted to welcome some of the participants at the biannual Manufacturing’21 conference, which was held this year at the University of Toulon and organised by the COSMER laboratory, the Toulon University Institute of Technology (IUT) and SeaTech Engineering School.
The Manufacturing’21 network was established in 2001 on the initiative of various French-speaking research laboratories working in the field of mechanical manufacturing.
This visit provided an opportunity to present our activities and to introduce participants to our industrial facilities for the manufacture of large-scale parts with complex geometries for cutting-edge industries: nuclear, aerospace, semiconductors, and more.

Our experts are able to handle a wide range of tasks, including the machining of parts weighing several tonnes with sub-millimetre precision from high-performance metals such as aluminium, stainless steel, AG3NET and composites, electron beam welding, which guarantees the mechanical properties of the manufactured parts, metrology, and assembly and integration in cleanroom environments.
